Somewhere in the past 7 months I realized something….
I enjoy challenging myself.
Okay, to be honest, what I really like is not setting a goal, but succeeding and smashing right through the damn thing.
It's kinda fun.
While I've been really successful in a lot of ways with this new lifestyle, it's been long enough that I've gotten sloppy here and there, and let some things I was normally vigilant about slide.
Armed with this newly discovered love of challenges, I've decided to create weekly ones for myself to keep on track, to help correct the potential problem areas and avoid pitfalls and backslides, and to encourage new interests and activities for the whole family.
This week is going back to one of the basics I've gotten away from: tracking my foods.
When I first started paleo I kept a daily journal, both in writing and online on MyFitnessPal. Except for periodic updates, I've let a lot of it slide; the result is that I've gotten sort of sloppy and have lost track of staying in my counts and getting all my macros.
So, it's time to get back on track, and with the advent of these weekly challenges, hopefully keep myself on track!
